Bishop T.D. Jakes delivered yet another powerful and inspiring message. He started in the 5th Chapter of the Matthew popularly known as The Beatitudes. It’s such a wonderful blessing to listen and meditate on the Word of God being preached in such a clear and simple manner. Here are some notes I’ve quoted from Bishop TD Jakes’ message:

A timely message from Bishop T.D. Jakes for the new year 2012! He is emphatic in saying: ” You cannot waste this year!” This is the year of grace. Extended to map things into alignment. To put things in order in your life. A year of destiny.

He is sharing from Mark 2:18-22 where Jesus Is Questioned About Fasting. ” The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were fasting. Then they came and said to Him, “Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?”

Bishop T.D. Jakes opened his powerful message with these statements: “Things get rough in a shift. Things become difficult in a shift. People forsake you in a shift. A shift puts you in an unfamiliar and uncertain realm. A paradigm shift affects every other things around. Do you need a paradigm shift in your life? Have you ever been defined by what you did or defined by your past?

You have to decide to be blessed. This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.
I gonna decide to be happy. I made up my mind. I’m gonna decide to live happily.
Let the past go and step to the future… I will rejoice!
