Glorious Ruins – Let the Ruins Comes to Life

Glorious Ruins – Let the Ruins Comes to Life

Glorious Ruins hillsong

What a wonderful and prophetic message. In life we have many struggles, trials, broken dreams, financial difficulty,or broken relationship. But hey, there is One Name that can turn our misery into mystery. One Name that can turn defeat into glory. One Name that can bring our weakness into victory. The Name of JESUS. No other name!
In Ezra 9:8-9 it says: “And now for a little while grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage. For we were slaves. Yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage; but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.” God spoke through Prophet Ezra to build the new temple of God that has been ruined. A temple that are far more glorious than the first. God used the King of Persia, an unlikely person who would help, and he brought favor and help the people to build the temple.

You see, God is our builder! He builds people’s lives. Jesus can restore lives, relationships, and the Church to a greater or more glorious state than the previous one. We matter to Him and He cares for us. We just need to have faith in Him and use his Godly wisdom to do what we can and leave everything to God what we cannot do on our own.

We pray that whatever ruins that you may have, our God will make them glorious!

” Let the ruins come to life
In the beauty of Your Name
Rising up from the ashes
God forever You reign

And my soul will find refuge
In the shadow of Your wings
I will love You forever
And forever I’ll sing”

David Wilkerson – The Victory of the Cross of Christ | Full Sermon

When we think of the victory of the Cross we have to remind ourselves that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all our sins and we are forgiven in Christ. At the Cross Jesus bore all our grief and sorrows. All guilt and condemnation is lifted because of His blood. At the Cross mercy and peace took on a human face. Jesus Christ made a covenant with His Father and His blood brings us everlasting peace.”

David Wilkerson The Victory of the Cross of Christ

David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade. In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to “the crossroads of the world” to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God. David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers. Wilkerson’s widely distributed sermons, such as “A Call to Anguish”, are known for being direct and frank against apostasy and serious about making the commitment to obey Jesus’ teachings. He emphasized such Christian beliefs as God’s holiness and righteousness, God’s love toward humans and especially Christian views of Jesus. Wilkerson tried to avoid categorizing Christians into distinct groups according to the denomination to which they belong. Wilkerson was killed in a car crash in Texas on April 27, 2011.

Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector

Are you familiar with the Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector? If not, you can read as this can be found in Luke 18:9-14: “Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

“I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” – Luke 18:14

“Plant The Gospel” – An Evangelism Documentary

The Church exists for nothing else but to draw men into Christ, to make them little Christs. If they are not doing that, all the cathedrals, clergy, missions, sermons, even the Bible itself, are simply a waste of time. God became Man for no other purpose. –C. S. Lewis

Evangelism is about sharing what we know about our Lord Jesus Christ with the sole the purpose of leading people into a personal relationship with God. We can begins with prayer for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in witnessing; for God to open doors of opportunity; and a clear message and understanding to point out the bad news of sin and to spread that there is a good news of salvation – of love, grace, mercy and faith.

Plant The Gospel An Evangelism Documentary

When it comes to evangelism, how are pastors to understand their primary role? Is it any different from that of a lay Christian? In this video, three pastors from different parts of the United States explain how they go about planting the gospel in their unique contexts — providing examples of what a pastor-evangelist is. A film commissioned by and premiered at the Together for the Gospel conference.
