Hillsong This I Believe – is probably one of the best songs in Hillsong Live’s  23rd worship album that was released recently. The background of this song started on social media when John Dickson, co-founder of the Centre for Public Christianity and senior Anglican minister in Sydney, Australia asked and posted on Facebook, “Can someone with real Hillsong contacts please urge their brilliant songwriters to put the Apostles’ Creed to inspiring music. They’d be doing mainstream Christianity an enormous favour.” He also tweeted the same request to Hillsong. Cassandra Langton, Hillsong’s Creative Director, came to know about and responded and tweeted her reply to John within 24 hours and said: “We shall have a go!!!” This began a production process for Hillsong’s new song This I believe, sung at Hillsong services and during  recent  Hillsong’s Colour Women’s Conference.

The Hillsong Worship team consists among others Reuben Morgan, Ben Fielding, Matt Crocker, Joel Houston, Nigel Hendroff, Autumn Hardman, Annie Garratt, Jad Gillies, David Ware, and Taya Smith.

Hillsong No Other Name – is the 23rd worship album by Hillsong released last 27 June 2014 in Australia and New Zealand and released on 1 July 2014 worldwide. It has 11 original songs perfect for individual and congregational worship. Featuring the songwriting, worship leadership, musicianship and vocals of those now well-known as the Hillsong Worship team, including Reuben Morgan, Ben Fielding, Matt Crocker, Joel Houston, Nigel Hendroff, Autumn Hardman, Annie Garratt, Jad Gillies, David Ware, and Taya Smith.

The album’s standout songs include the title track, ‘No Other Name’, which captures Hillsong Church’s current season of building on the foundations of the past three decades and ‘pioneering again’, whilst continuing to lift up the One it all began with, Jesus. And yes, “No Other Name”  is the theme of this year’s Hillsong Conference happening next week, 30 June – 4 July, Allphones Arena, Sydney, Australia.

Australia X Factor 2013 Winner Dami Im Sings Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone). Unknown to most Australia’s X-factor fans, Dami Im is a Christian singer. She sang this beautiful song Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) that has made popular by Christian Worship leaders like Chris Tomlin. Dami Im is a South Korean-born Australian singer, best known as the winner of the fifth series of The X Factor Australia in 2013. She subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia and released her winner’s single “Alive“, which debuted at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart. Im’s self-titled album, Dami Im, was released in November 2013 and debuted at number one the ARIA Albums Chart. She became the first X Factor Australia contestant in the history of the ARIA Charts to follow up a number one single with a number one album.
