This is beautiful version of popular Christmas song, “The Christmas Song,” performed by the Gaither Vocal Band. It’s Christmas season again and let us not forget the true meaning of this holiday festivities. Jesus Christ is the reason why we are celebrating Christmas. It’s CHRIST-mas!!!

The Gaither Vocal Band was founded in the early ’80s by renowned Christian music leader Bill Gaither. GVB became one of America’s leading southern gospel vocal groups. While Bill Gaither remained the only original member of the ensemble, many well-regarded CCM/gospel singers have passed through the band’s ranks, including Russ Taff, Guy Penrod, Wes Hampton, Michael English, Mark Lowry, and David Phelps. Yes, we are part of the family of God! This is a very inspiring song written by Bill and Gloria Gaither for all of us to enjoy. Performed in Gaither Studios in Alexandra, Indiana, Bill Gaither sang it beautifully with the rest of the Gaither Vocal Band members and his wife Gloria Gaither. Be blessed.

Beautiful Version: “O Little Town Of Bethlehem” by Gaither Vocal Band

Enjoy this popular Christmas carol that was written by Phillips Brooks (1835–1893), an Episcopal priest, then rector of Church of the Holy Trinity, Philadelphia, and later of Trinity Church, Boston. He was inspired by visiting the village of Bethlehem in the Sanjak of Jerusalem in 1865. Three years later, he wrote the poem for his church, and his organist Lewis Redner (1831–1908) added the music. A blessed Christmas season to everyone! Jesus, the reason for this time of rejoicing!

WATCH this powerful performance of the classic Christmas song “O Holy Night” by Wes Hampton of the famous Gaither Vocal Band. “O Holy Night” is considered as a sacred song for Christmas. Originally based on a French-language poem by poet Placide Cappeau, written in 1843 and set to music in 1847. The English version (with small changes to the initial melody) is by John Sullivan Dwight. The carol reflects on the birth of Jesus as the Savior of the world. Glory to God!!!

Here is another favourite Christmas carol performed by the Gaither Vocal Band entitled “Away in A Manger.” They recorded it live at Gaither Studio, Alexandria, Indiana. Away in a Manger” is a Christmas carol first published in the late nineteenth century and used widely throughout the English-speaking world. In Britain, it is one of the most popular carols; a 1996 Gallup Poll ranked it joint second. Although it was long claimed to be the work of German religious reformer Martin Luther, the carol is now thought to be wholly American in origin.
