The Gaither Vocal Band was founded in the early ’80s by renowned Christian music leader Bill Gaither. GVB became one of America’s leading southern gospel vocal groups. While Bill Gaither remained the only original member of the ensemble, many well-regarded CCM/gospel singers have passed through the band’s ranks, including Russ Taff, Guy Penrod, Wes Hampton, Michael English, Mark Lowry, and David Phelps. Today, the Gaither Vocal Band roster is comprised of five power-packed voices, including Bill Gaither, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles and Reggie Smith.

Amazing Video of Thousands of Soldiers Singing “Reckless Love” – Inspiring!!!

What an incredible atmosphere of gallant soldiers singing a Christian song in unison! It is very rare that these men gather in such number only to sing, as part of their assembly, a song that is not so popular in the secular world. Salute to the leaders of these soldiers for this initiative. Salute to these soldiers who incredibly put aside opposition and participate to this event that cannot be ignored in the eyes of both believers and non-believers. Hallelujah!

Famous Country Music Band Alabama led by Randy Owen performed this classic hymn, Because He Lives, and they did a wonderful performance! The musical arrangement was great and did not vary main melody of the song. Watch them sing below.

About Alabama

Alabama was the group that made country bands popular again. Emerging in the late ’70s, the band had roots in both country and rock. The band formed in Fort Payne, Alabama, in 1969. The band was founded by Randy Owen (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and his cousin Teddy Gentry (bass, backing vocals). They were soon joined by another cousin, Jeff Cook (lead guitar, fiddle, and keyboards). Alabama’s biggest success came in the 1980s, where the band had over 27 number one hits, seven multi-platinum albums and received numerous awards. This is the amazing story of Davey Falcus also know as Tams, a notorious North East England Gangster. He had a reputation of violence in his city. A hitman, a robber, and a well known convict. He was jailed for various crimes he committed. But he had an encounter with Jesus Christ that totally transformed him. He relates:

“On the 16th August 1995, I picked up a bible that had been left in our house by a friend. It said ‘He who seeks finds’. Totally desperate and on the edge of suicide, I called out to Jesus Christ asking for forgivness, I shouted untill I got a response. To my utter amazement a bright light filled the room, it was brighter than the sun. Wave after wave of pure bliss rolled over my body, I looked up and Jesus was standing over me shining in all His Glory, He said;’ Son, your sins are forgiven, go now and sin no more’. At that moment a 15 year drug habit was broken instantly, also my desire for alcohol left me. The voices became silent for the first time in many years and a beautiful peace entered my body.
I had become what is known as ‘born again’ (John 3:3). The anger,violence,fear and paranoia was now gone! I felt brand new! It was the most beautiful (and fearful!) experience in my life! Over the past ten years I’ve got to know Jesus on a personal level he has totally transformed my life. He showed me he had a plan for my life, he has helped me to overcome many problems in my life and that has allowed me to help others. Merle Haggard is a popular icon of Country Music. He is well known as “The Poet of the Common Man.” He is widely considered as one of the most successful singer-songwriters in the history of country music. During a career that lasted from the 1960s until his death in 2016, he recorded more than 70 albums and had more than 30 No. 1 singles. Merle Haggard was born in Oildale, California, during the Great Depression. He was inducted into Country Music Hall of Fame in 1994. He was an inmate at San Quentin from 1958 to 1960 where Merle Haggard saw Johnny Cash play at the prison on January 1, 1959. It changed his life. Haggard was later granted a pardon by Ronald Reagan when the former actor was Governor of California.
