Debating for The Truth: Why Islam is Wrong?

This video teaching of the late Ravi Zacharias is a must watch video. He discussed why Islam is not what it really teaches. He talked about Mohammed, Koran, Ramadan, and other Muslim beliefs. If you are a Muslim, have an open mind before you watch this. It can save your soul.

Ravi Zacharias was an Indian-born Canadian-American Christian apologist. Zacharias was the author of more than 30 books on Christianity. Ravi Zacharias’s ultimate mission was a Christian apologist and evangelist: to present and defend the truth of Jesus Christ that others may find life in Him.

What Do Muslims Believe?

Muslims share certain beliefs, including:

  • The oneness of God (Allah) – For Muslims, there is no entity worthy of worship but Allah. Allah has no partners, no progeny and no gender.
  • Belief in God’s prophets – Muslims believe that Allah’s message was given to numerous prophets, including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Elijah, and Jesus, and other prophets common to Christianity and Judaism, as well as Muhammad. Muslims believe that Muhammad is the last prophet, in part because he had the most success instituting God’s word in his lifetime.
  • Belief in angels – Muslims believe in spiritual beings who do the will of God.
  • Belief in sacred books – These include the Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel (P.S. not the same as the Bible gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and Jonh), and the Quran.
  • The day of judgment and resurrection – Muslims believe that human beings are accountable for their behavior during their lifetimes. At death, that behavior is part of what determines how the person will be judged.

Sweet Aroma Serving Christ

There is a sweet smelling aroma in serving Christ!

“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?” – 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 NASB

Our Lord Jesus offers us victory 24 hours, 7 days a week, always and forever! God leads us into victory and and gives us a sweet smelling aroma of knowledge of Him everywhere! This aroma brings fragrance of Christ in us that brings life to people around us who loves Christ and death to those who rejects Christ. This is the God we worship! He does not play favorites whether you are young or old, black or white, rich or poor. He treats us equally. Either we can have this sweet smelling aroma or we reject it and keep our foul odor.

In a very filthy prison, Paul was rejoicing every time. God is producing a sweet aroma in Paul. In the middle of night, He and Silas were singing their hearts out to the LORD. They don’t care what the other prisoners and the guards will say. They just allow this sweet smelling aroma of Christ in them to spread it’s fragrance. And it accomplished it’s purpose!

Let us read these biblical accounts in Acts 16:25-38:

25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”

29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34 Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.

We need this sweet smelling aroma of Christ as a vocal witness for Him. As pilgrims of this world, we are surrounded by people who are hungry for Christ and those who reject Christ. We have a responsibility to reach out and lead people to a life of triumph and victory.

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!”
Philippians 4:4 NASB

Awesome Praise: In Jesus’ Name by Darlene Zschech Revealing Jesus Project

In Jesus Name Darlene Zschech Revealing Jesus Project

I will live, I will not die. The resurrection power of Christ.
Alive in me and I am free. In Jesus’ Name
.”

In Jesus’ Name by Darlene Zschech is a very inspiring praise song that is very timely and relevant at this age. Battling Cancer herself, Darlene seemed to poured out her heart into the lyrics of this song declaring the Name of Jesus is indeed more powerful than anything else. It’s a song declaring God’s love for us and that He is fighting for us against the wiles of the devil.

Merle Haggard Tribute: “Jesus Christ” One of His Beautiful Gospel Songs

Merle Haggard Jesus Christ

FAREWELL MERLE HAGGARD. One of my favorite Country Music legend, Merle Haggard, died on 7 April 2016, at age of 79. He is the grizzled country music legend whose songs such as “Okie from Muskogee” and “Fightin’ Side of Me” that made him a voice for the workingman and the outsider. Additionally, Merle Haggard has been open about his Christian faith, and has sang various gospel songs including this song Jesus Christ. Haggard has a wonderfully distinctive singing voice, and is one of America’s greatest songwriters.

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ was a man that traveled through the land
A carpenter true and brave
He said to the rich give your goods to the poor
And they laid Jesus Christ in the grave

He went to the sick and he went to the poor
And he went to the hungry and the lame
And he said that the meek would inherit the whole world
And they laid Jesus Christ in the grave

One day Jesus stopped at a rich man’s door
What must I do to be saved
Take all you own and give it to the poor
And they laid Jesus Christ in the grave

When the love of the poor shall one day turn to hate
When the patience of the workers give away
Would be better for the rich if they never been born
So they laid Jesus Christ in the grave

When Jesus came to town all the working folks around
Believed what he did say
But bankers and preachers nailed him to the cross
And they laid Jesus Christ in the grave

Well the people held their breath when they heard about his death
And everybody wondered why
Was the landlord and soldiers lawmen there had hired
That nailed Jesus Christ in the sky

We would lay Jesus Christ in the grave Lord Lord
We would lay Jesus Christ in the grave
And if Jesus preached today like he preached in Galilee
We would lay Jesus Christ in his grave.
