Work Out Your Own Salvation With Fear and Trembling

Therefore my beloved, just as always you have obeyed, not only as in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.” – Philippians 2:12-13

Work Out Your Own Salvation – Pastor David Jeremiah

Matthew Henry CommentaryPhilippians 2:12-18: “We must be diligent in the use of all the means which lead to our salvation, persevering therein to the end. With great care, lest, with all our advantages, we should come short. Work out your salvation, for it is God who worketh in you. This encourages us to do our utmost, because our labour shall not be in vain: we must still depend on the grace of God. The working of God’s grace in us, is to quicken and engage our endeavours. God’s good-will to us, is the cause of his good work in us. Do your duty without murmurings. Do it, and do not find fault with it. Mind your work, and do not quarrel with it. By peaceableness; give no just occasion of offence. The children of God should differ from the sons of men. The more perverse others are, the more careful we should be to keep ourselves blameless and harmless. The doctrine and example of consistent believers will enlighten others, and direct their way to Christ and holiness, even as the light-house warns mariners to avoid rocks, and directs their course into the harbour. Let us try thus to shine. The gospel is the word of life, it makes known to us eternal life through Jesus Christ. Running, denotes earnestness and vigour, continual pressing forward; labouring, denotes constancy, and close application. It is the will of God that believers should be much in rejoicing; and those who are so happy as to have good ministers, have great reason to rejoice with them.”

Are you ready to meet your Creator? If not, the video below is for you! God bless.

“Behold now is the accepted time. Behold now is the day of salvation. He said this is a day of mercy. This is a day of grace. This is the time for you to get right with God and deal with this mercy.”

David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade. In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to “the crossroads of the world” to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.

Can a Holy-Spirit-Filled Christian can have Another Spirit Living in Him?

Derek Prince, one of the most admired teacher of the Word of God, explained in this video about the possibility of having both the Holy Spirit and another spirit that is not of God in the life of a Christian believer. It’s a bit of a controversial issue if we think that because the Holy Spirit is holy, and therefore, He cannot co-exist with an unclean spirit. Derek Prince quoted to scriptures that somehow describe this situation: First, Deuteronomy 22:9 which says: “You shall not sow your vineyard with different kinds of seed, lest the yield of the seed which you have sown and the fruit of your vineyard be defiled.” And second, Deuteronomy 22:9 which says: ““You shall not wear a garment of different sorts, such as wool and linen mixed together.”

Come Boldly To The Throne of Grace!

“No judge or dissenter can thwart the sovereign purposes of a God who hears and answers the pleas of His people. Believers in Jesus Christ can come “boldly to the throne of grace” (Hebrews 4:16), now that His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection has atoned for sins and opened the way into His presence through faith in Him.” Franklin Graham (Praying Without Ceasing)
Yes Lord! In your freedom I will live. Thank you that I can boldly to your throne of grace made possible by your Son, my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I humbly offer my life to you. Guide me in all the days of my life.
