As I was listening to this song, I remember a Bible verse that I often hear when I was still a new Christian. I heard several preachers spoke about this verse and it echoed as soon as I hear this song from Hillsong Live entitled Stronger. It’s actually a declaration. A prayer of faith in times of troubles, trials, and difficult times. This verse is found in Psalm 28 the 7th verse and it says: “The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.”

David Crowder Band’s How He Loves Us is a very inspiring song. I love that part of the song that says: “We are His portion and He is our prize; Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes. If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking; So Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss.” Yes, Jesus is our prized possession. He is our Hope. Jesus is fully God but He chose to become a man in our likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross! How great is His love for you and me!
