In Psalm 51, we reflect on David’s prayer when he committed an adulterous relationship with Batsheba to the point the he orchestrated the death of Uriah, a loyal soldier to him who is Bathseba’s husband.

Casting Crowns is one of my favorite Christian Band. This band is a Grammy Award and Dove Award winning Contemporary Christian/Christian Rock band. They started in 1999 by youth pastor Mark Hall at First Baptist Church in Downtown Daytona Beach, Florida. Mark Hall is the lead vocalist of Casting Crowns.

Who Am I really tells a story about you and me relating to our relationship with God, our Father Almighty. The lyrics are penned in a layman’s perspective and was recorded beautifully to emphasize nuggets of important biblical teachings and values.

In some of my favorite verses, God’s said:

“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.” Jeremiah 1:5

“I am familiar with all your ways.” – Psalm 139:3

“Even the very hairs on your head are numbered.” – Matthew 10:29-31

“I determined the exact time of your birth and where you would live.” – Acts 17:26
