Jesus, Just The Mention Of Your Name

Song by Jimmy Swaggart

Jesus, just the mention of Your name
Flowers grow
The desert blooms again (yes, it does)
Like fire in winter cold
Like pure precious gold
Jesus, just the mention of Your name

Jesus, just the mention of Your name (that precious name)
Flowers grow
The desert blooms again (oh, yes)
Like fire in winter cold
Like pure precious gold
Jesus, just the mention of Your name

Like a lighthouse to a safe hand
In the midst of a midnight storm
You know, it’s like a harbor
To an old ship that’s battered and torn
It’s like bread to a starving emptied heart
Like, like fresh running water to a soul that’s parched

Jesus, just the mention of Your name (yes, Lord)
Jesus, just the mention of Your name
Flowers grow
The desert blooms again (oh, yes)
Like fire in winter cold
Like pure precious gold
Jesus (my Jesus), just the mention of Your name

Jesus (Jesus), just the mention of Your name
(Your precious, precious name)
Flowers grow (flowers grow)
The desert blooms again (oh, yes, it does)
Like fire in winter cold
Like pure precious gold (thank You, Lord)
Jesus, just the mention of Your name

Jesus, just the mention of Your name
Jesus, just the mention, thank God, of Your precious name
(Just the mention of Your name)
Jesus

I Love To Tell The Story Lyrics

Song by The Oak Ridge Boys

I love to tell the story
Of unseen things above
Of Jesus and his glory, of Jesus and his love
I love to tell the story
Because I know ’tis true
It satisfies my longing as
Nothing else would do

I love to tell the story
’twill be my theme in glory to tell the old
Old story of Jesus and his love

I love to tell the story
More wonderful it seems
Than all the golden fancies of
All our golden dreams
I love to tell the story
It did so much for me
And that is just the reason I
Tell it now to thee

I love to tell the story for
Those who know it best
Seem hungering and thirsting to hear
It like the rest
And when in scenes of glory I
Sing the new new song
‘Twill be the old old story that
I have loved so long

A House Of Gold Lyrics

Song by Mark Lowry

Lose my soul
And lose my soul
My soul, my soul
And lose my soul
My soul, my soul
And lose

I’d rather be in a deep, dark grave
And know that my poor soul was saved
Than to live in this world in a house of gold
And deny my God and lose my soul

Some people steal, they cheat and lie
For wealth and what it will buy
But don’t they know on the judgement day
That gold and silver is gonna melt away

I’d rather be in a deep, dark grave
And know that my poor soul was saved
Than to live in this world in a house of gold
And deny my God and lose my soul

Lose my soul
And lose my soul
Lose my soul
And lose my soul
My soul, my soul
And lose

Oh, what good is gold and silver, too
If your heart’s not good and true
Oh, Sinner hear me when I say
Fall down upon your knees and pray

I’d rather be in a deep, dark grave
And know that my poor soul was saved
Than to live in this world in a house of gold
And deny my God and lose my soul

I’d rather be in a deep and dark grave
And know that my poor soul was saved
Than to live in this world in a house of gold
And deny my God and lose my soul
And deny my God and lose my soul

Lose my soul
And lose my soul
My soul, my soul
And lose my soul
Lose my soul
And lose my soul

And know that my poor soul was saved
Than to live in this world in a house of gold
And deny my God and lose my soul

I’d rather be in a deep, dark grave
And know that my poor soul was saved
Than to live in this world in a house of gold
And deny my God and lose my soul
And deny my God and lose my soul

Lose my soul
And lose my soul
Lose my soul
And lose my soul
Lose my soul
And lose my soul

Oh, That’s singing!

I Never Shall Forget the Day Lyrics

Song by Speer Family

Long years ago when out in sin
I had no hope no peace within
Down on my knees in agony
I prayed to Jesus and He gladly set me free

[Chorus]
I never shall forget the day
And all the burdens of my soul were rolled away
It made me happy, be glad and free
I’ll sing and shout it, God means everything to me

[Verse 2]
Now I can feel, him at my side
My fewer steps, he comes to guide
When trials come, he comforts me
To faith in him or sin I have a victory

[Chorus]

[Verse 3]
Oh, sinner come to Jesus now
At His dear feet just humbly bow
Confess to Him your every sin
He’ll save and cleanse you, give you peace and joy within

Master The Tempest Is Raging Lyrics

Master, the tempest is raging
Oh, the billows are tossing high
The sky is o’ershadowed with blackness
Oh, no shelter or help is nigh
Carest thou not that we perish?
How canst we lie, how canst thou lie asleep
Asleep when each moment so madly is threatning
A grave, a grave, a grave in the angry deep?

Get up, Jesus, because
The winds and the waves shall obey thy will
All you got to say is
Peace, be still
Peace, be still
Peace, be still
Peace, be still

Whether the wrath of the storm-tossed sea
Or demons, or men, or whatever it be
No water can swallow the ship where lies
The master of ocean and earth and sky
They all shall sweetly obey thy will

Peace, peace, be still
They all shall sweetly obey thy will
Peace, peace, peace, be still
Peace, be still
Peace, be still
Peace, be still
Peace, be still

I’m gonna be still
Give me peace
Peace, be still
Master say peace, be still
