Striving for a Crown
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Often people ask how I manage to be happy despite having no arms and no legs. The quick answer is that I have a choice. I can be angry about not having limbs, or I can be thankful that I have a purpose. I chose gratitude. – Nick Vujicic

Bill Hybels: The Life Cycle of a Leader

Bill Hybels, the founding and senior pastor of Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois, shares his leadership secrets in this video. He discussed various characteristics and attributes of people who are worthy to be part of the leadership role in ministry. “It takes a leader to grow a leader.”- Bill Hybels

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. – 1 Corinthians 12:12-14

Tawhid or Trinity? Dr. Shabir Ally and Dr. Nabeel Qureshi Debate

Debates are very good source of learning especially if done between or among scholars or experts. This debate is one of them. What is God Really Like: Tawhid or Trinity? Dr. Nabeel Qureshi and Dr. Shabir Ally debates on “Who Is The Real God? Allah or the Trinity?” moderated by Ms. Julie Roys, host of Moody Radio’s “Up For Debate” show. It is a very interesting debate. Sit back and watch up to the end. It’s a long video but it’s worth watching.

Tawhid or Trinity Debate

Tawhid is an Arabic term meaning doctrine of “the oneness” of God; also transliterated as Tawheed and Tauheed) is the concept of monotheism in Islam.

Trinity (from Latin trinitas “triad”, from trinus “threefold”)is a Christian Doctrine. Defines God as three consubstantial persons, expressions, or hypostases: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit; “one God in three persons”. The three persons are distinct, yet are one “substance, essence or nature”.In this context, a “nature” is what one is, while a “person” is who one is.

Atheist Saved by The Truth of The Sovereign God

Without Jesus Christ there is no hope. There is no Truth. There is no external objects. There is just complete lost. There is darkness. Searching out and cannot find anything.” – Michael, a former athiest

Michael was challenged with the true Truth while on a college campus and he soon came to realize that his philosophy and atheism could not stand against the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning…” ? C.S. Lewis
