While I’m waiting, I will serve You While I’m waiting, I will worship While I’m waiting, I will not faint I’ll be running the race Even while I wait – John Waller
I first heard this song on the movie Fireproof. This song is simply amazing and its message deeply impacted and refreshed my attitude on waiting. Sometimes we are too carried by our emotions. We are often react to the pressures from the people around us. We often jump into decisions without heeding to what God has to say. God’s Word says:
“Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.” (Psalm 37:7)
“I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry.” (Psalm 40:1-3)
“Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.”(James 5:6-8)
But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.(Isaiah 40:31)
Another inspiring song with awesome lyrics! I first heard this song from Chris Tomlin. This is the Hillsong United version. Another great band making impact to the young generation for Christ. Enjoy the video and as you watch, I pray that you will encounter God in a very personal way. I only wish that you will be blessed.
“You bought my life with the Blood that You shed on the cross. When You died for the sins of men. And You let out a cry, Crucified now alive in you. These hands are Yours Teach them to serve as You please. And I’ll reach out desperate to see, All the greatness of God, May my soul rest assured in You…”
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love (Romans 5:1-5)
Bluetree: God Of This City – Belfast Version
‘GodOf This City’ written by Bluetree from Northern Ireland. Inspired during a trip to Thailand. This song has also been covered by Chris Tomlin. Taken from the ‘Greater Things’ album. Buy album here God of This City or MP3 download here God Of This City
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:5-11)
Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour. He is the Beginning and the End. The author and finisher of our faith. As you watch this video by Kristian Stanfill, let Jesus penetrate the depths of your hearts. May He touch you in a very special way and make that revelation of who He is in your life.
Jesus Paid it All
Kristian Stanfill leading the song Jesus Paid It All at Passion 2006 in Nashville, Tennessee. Listen to this song on Passion’s Everything Glorious album or on Kristian Stanfill’s album Jesus Paid It All (Everything Glorious Album Version)
JESUS PAID IT ALL
I hear the Savior say Thy strength indeed is small Child of weakness watch and pray Find in me thine all in all
Jesus paid it all All to Him I owe Sin had left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow
Lord now indeed I find Thy power and thine alone Can change the lepers spots And melt the heart of stone
Jesus paid it all All to Him I owe Sin had left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow
And when before the throne I stand in Him complete Jesus died my soul to save My lips shall still repeat
Jesus paid it all All to Him I owe Sin had left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow
Sin had left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow
Oh praise the One who paid my debt and raised this life up from the dead (x6)
Jesus paid it all All to him I owe Sin had left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow
