David Wilkerson – Preparing for the Last Days

How to survive the end times? Are you prepared? What is our attitude as we are nearing the end times? “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”” – 1 Peter 7-8.

The Day and Hour Unknown (Matthew 24:36-44)

36“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,but only the Father.

37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;

39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.

41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Beautiful Merle Haggard Song “He Walks With Me” (In the Garden)

Listen to this beautiful gospel song of the legendary country music artist Merle Haggard entitled “He Walks With Me.” It’s amazing how the LORD Jesus speaks through a song and even touch lives of famous country singers like Merle Haggard. What a beautiful version! Be blessed.

Merle Haggard is a popular icon of Country Music. He is well known as “The Poet of the Common Man.” He is widely considered as one of the most successful singer-songwriters in the history of country music. During a career that lasted from the 1960s until his death in 2016, he recorded more than 70 albums and had more than 30 No. 1 singles. Merle Haggard was born in Oildale, California, during the Great Depression. He was inducted into Country Music Hall of Fame in 1994. He Walks With Me Lyrics

Merle Haggard

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The son of God discloses

And he walks with me and he talks with me
And he tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known

He speaks and the sound of his voice is so sweet
The birds hush their singing
And the melody that he gave to me
Within my heart is ringing

And he walks with me and he talks with me
And he tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known

David Wilkerson – The Need in You and How to Meet It

Here is another powerful message of the late Rev. David Wilkerson entitled “The Need in You and How to Meet It.” It’s true we all have needs. Broken marriage, wounded feelings, betrayal, unforgiveness, addiction, just to mention few. Where are these coming from? David Wilkerson reminds us that if we are willing to let go of what we love, that holds us back from receiving God’s provision, then He will work. But it’s really up to us to make those decision as led by the Holy Spirit. Be blessed and do not forget to share this post if you find it valuable.

Joyful Gospel Song “The Old Country Church” by Gaither Vocal Group (Live Performance)

This is a very special song in a traditional setting. Yes, you guess it right. It is a picture of how a Church should come together in praise and worship! Not the concert type or decorating the stage with disco lights and smoke. We need to go back to the old country church where people can just come and sing along!!! Amen? Be blessed by this Gaither gospel song “The Old Country Church”lead by James Blackwood, Jack Toney, Squire Parsons, Ben Speer, George Younce, Ernie Haase, and Glen Payne.

“The Gaither Vocal Band is an American southern gospel vocal group, named after its founder and leader Bill Gaither. Founded in the early ’80s, Gaither Vocal Band is one of America’s leading faith-based vocal groups. While Gaither remained the only original member of the ensemble, many well-regarded CCM/gospel singers have passed through the band’s ranks, including Russ Taff, Guy Penrod, Wes Hampton, Michael English, Mark Lowry, and David Phelps. On March 1, 2017, it was announced that the Gaither Vocal Band lineup consisted of Reggie Smith, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles, and Bill Gaither. Although the group started out recording contemporary Christian music in the 1980s, it became known for southern gospel after the popularity of the Gaither Homecoming videos.” (Source: Wikipedia)

The Old Country Church Lyrics

Oh, I’d like to go back
To that old country church
To hear the songs of praise
(Songs of praise)
How the people would sing
It would make the rafters ring
At that old, at that old country church

Shall we gather at the river
The beautiful, the beautiful river
Gather with the saints at the river
That flows from the throne of God

Oh, I’ll never forget
At that old country church
How the glory of the Lord came down
And the children would smile
As they shouted down the aisle
Of that old, of that old country church

In the sweet bye and bye
We shall meet on that beautiful shore
In the sweet bye and bye
We shall meet on that beautiful shore

Then on sunday I’d see
All my friends dear to me
At that old (at that old)
Country church (country church)
When we’d kneel down to pray’r
Everybody would be there
At that old (at that old)
Country church

Leaning (leaning)
Leaning (I’m leaning)
Safe and secure from all alarm
Leaning (leaning, leaning)
Leaning (I’m leaning)
Leaning on the everlasting arm

Now the years have gone by
And so many have died
At that old country church (country church)
But they’re on the other shore
Where they’ll sing forever more
As they did at that old country church

I’m redeemed (oh, I’m redeemed)
By Love Divine (by Love Divine)
Oh, glory, glory (Christ is mine)
Christ is mine (Christ is mine)
Oh, to Him (oh, to him)
I now resign (I now resign)
(I have been) I have been redeemed

I’m redeemed (oh, I’m redeemed)
By Love Divine (by Love Divine)
Oh, glory, glory (Hallelujah)
Christ is mine (He is mine)
Oh, to Him (oh, to him)
I now resign (I now resign)
(I have been) I have been redeemed

At that old country church

I’m redeemed (oh, I’m redeemed)
By Love Divine (by Love Divine)
Oh, glory, glory (Christ is mine)
Christ is mine (Christ is mine)
Oh, to Him (oh, to him)
I now resign (I now resign)
(I have been) I have been redeemed

I’m redeemed (oh, I’m redeemed)
By Love Divine (by Love Divine)
Oh, glory, glory (Christ is mine)
Christ is mine (Christ is mine)
Oh, to Him (oh, to him)
I now resign (I now resign)
(I have been) I have been redeemed!

Jesus Paid It All: A Devotional & A Beautiful Song

Jesus Paid It All!

Never build your case for forgiveness on the idea that God is our Father and He will forgive us because He loves us. That contradicts the revealed truth of God in Jesus Christ. It makes the Cross unnecessary, and the redemption “much ado about nothing.” God forgives sin only because of the death of Christ. God could forgive people in no other way than by the death of His Son, and Jesus is exalted as Savior because of His death. “We see Jesus . . . for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor . . .” (Hebrews 2:9). The greatest note of triumph ever sounded in the ears of a startled universe was that sounded on the Cross of Christ— “It is finished!” (John 19:30). That is the final word in the redemption of humankind.” – Oswald Chambers

But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5 NKJV

Jesus Paid It All

“IT IS FINISHED”

A drop of blood fell to the ground
And it told the ground – It is finished

And the ground told the grass
It is finished

And the grass told the herbs
It is finished

And the herbs told the trees
It is finished

And the trees told the birds
It is finished

And the birds told the clouds
It is finished

And the clouds told the stars
It is finished

And the stars told the angels
It is finished

And the angels told ….
