“Testify” – The Booth Brothers (Live Performance)

Be blessed by this beautiful gospel song, “Testify,” by the Booth Brothers. The message of this song reaches beyond melody and harmony and speaks directly to the heart of every believer. It is a reminder that faith was never meant to be hidden or kept silent. The grace and mercy of God at work in our lives become a testimony that others need to hear. Through every trial, every answered prayer, every season of struggle, and every moment of victory, God continues to reveal His faithfulness. Songs like this encourage us to reflect on where we once were and how far the Lord has brought us through His love and power.

As followers of Christ, we are called to testify about the transforming power of the gospel in our lives. Our stories may all be different, but they all point to the same Savior who changes hearts and renews lives. We can speak of how Christ lifted us from fear, restored our hope, strengthened our faith, and continues to shape us day by day into His likeness. There is power in sharing what God has done because someone else may be waiting to hear that message of hope and encouragement. May this song inspire us to boldly tell our story and joyfully proclaim the goodness of God, giving Him all the glory for the work He continues to do within us.

About The Booth Brothers

The Booth Brothers was initially formed in the 1950s by Ron Booth Sr. with his brothers Charles, James, and Wallace, after they moved to Detroit. However, Ron decided to disband the group in 1963 when he joined The Toney Brothers. In 1990, Ron’s youngest son, Michael, decided to revive the group with his brother Ronnie II (b. June 28, 1965), and his father. They started performing and touring around Florida and recorded several albums. In 1998, Ron decided to retire and the remaining brothers started looking for a replacement. They recorded several albums with Joseph Smith, who was later replaced by Jim Brady. Brady remained with them until 2014, at which point he was replaced by Paul Lancaster.

Testify Lyrics

Song by The Booth Brothers

I’m looking for someone, for anyone
Who can stand up and tell what the Lord has done for ’em
Has He been faithful? Has He been merciful?
Come on now, I want someone to rise up and testify

I’ve got to tell someone
What a mighty thing that my Lord has done
His love has changed my life
I’ve got to stand and testify
I want to make it known
Can’t believe the mercy that I’ve been shown
Got joy and hope inside
I’ve got to stand and testify

Grace came to me and my soul is compelled
I’ve got such good news that I just can’t keep to myself

I’ve got to tell someone
What a mighty thing that my Lord has done
His love has changed my life
I’ve got to stand and testify
I want to make it known
Can’t believe the mercy that I’ve been shown
Got joy and hope inside
I’ve got to stand and testify

Feels like a fire that is shut in my bones
His Word says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so”
Testify

I’ve got to tell someone
What a mighty thing that my Lord has done
His love has changed my life
I’ve got to stand and testify
I want to make it known
Can’t believe the mercy that I’ve been shown
Got joy and hope inside
I’ve got to stand and testify

Took away my guilt and sin (testify, testify)
Gave me peace and joy within (testify, testify)
Oh, I’m forgiven for everything that I’ve done wrong (I’m forgiven for – I’ve done wrong)
And if it’s true for you, get on your feet and sing along, yeah

I’ve got to tell someone
What a mighty thing that my Lord has done (what my Lord has done)
His Love has changed my life
I’ve got to stand and testify (wanna testify)
I want to make it known (want to make it known)
Can’t believe the mercy that I’ve been shown
Got joy and hope inside
I’ve got to stand and testify (come on and testify)

I’ve got to tell someone
What a mighty thing that my Lord has done
His love has changed my life
I’ve got to stand and testify (wanna testify)
I want to make it known (want to make it known)
Can’t believe the mercy that I’ve been shown
Got joy and hope inside
I’ve got to stand and testify

I’ve got to tell someone
What a mighty thing that my Lord has done
His love has changed my life
I’ve got to stand and testify (I wanna testify)
I want to make it known (want to make it known)
Can’t believe the mercy that I’ve been shown
Got joy and hope inside
I’ve got to stand and testify

“Praise the Lord” – Gaither Homecoming Featuring Russ Taff

Be blessed and encouraged by this deeply moving rendition of “Praise The Lord” performed by the well-acclaimed gospel singer and artist Russ Taff. This beautiful song carries a powerful message that speaks directly to the heart, especially during seasons when life feels overwhelming and burdens seem heavy. The lyrics are inspiring and filled with hope, serving as a reminder that praise is not only for moments of joy and victory, but also for times when we are struggling and searching for strength. There is something truly uplifting about songs that can minister to the soul and gently remind us of God’s faithfulness even in our most difficult moments.

This is one of those timeless songs that many of us need to hold onto when fear tries to take over, when anxiety weighs heavily on our hearts, or when we are walking through painful trials and difficult circumstances. In those moments, it is important to remember that our hope is greater than our struggles and that our faith can rise above our fears. As believers, we are reminded that the enemy seeks to discourage and deceive, but his power has already been defeated through the victory won at the cross by our Lord Jesus Christ. May this song strengthen your spirit, renew your faith, and remind you to keep lifting up praise, because God’s promises remain true and His presence remains constant through every season of life.

Praise The Lord Lyrics

Russ Taff

When you’re up against a struggle, that shatters all your dreams
And your hopes have been cruelly crushed by Satan’s manifested schemes
And you feel the urge within you to submit to earthly fear
Don’t let the faith you’re standing in seem to disappear

Praise the Lord, He will work through those who praise Him
Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise
Praise the Lord, for the chains that seem to bind you
Serve only to remind you, that they drop powerless behind you
When you praise Him

Now, Satan is a liar and he wants to make us think
That we are paupers, when he knows himself we’re children of the King
So lift up the mighty shield of faith for the battle must be won
We know that Jesus Christ has risen and the work’s already done

Praise the Lord, He will work through those who praise Him
Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise
Praise the Lord, for the chains that seem to bind you
Serve only to remind you, that they drop powerless behind you
When you praise Him

Praise the Lord, He will work through those who praise Him
Praise the Lord, for our God abides in our praise
Praise the Lord, for the chains that seem to bind you
Serve only to remind you, that they drop powerless behind you
When you praise Him

When you praise Him
When you praise Him
When you praise
When you praise, you praise the Lord
Praise the Lord
