“Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” – Mark 8:34-37
Billy Graham The Value of Soul
In this classic sermon from the Washington Convention Center, Billy Graham examines the great worth God places on human souls. Jesus said that your soul is worth more than the rest of the world put together. He asked, “What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:36)
“Why is your soul so valuable? First, the value of your soul is measured by its eternal quality. It will never die. You are going to live forever. Your body will die, but your soul, the part of you that is made in the image of God, will never die. Your soul—your spirit—will live forever. It is that part of you that has understanding and wisdom.” – Billy Graham
I am very inspired to watch this video about this Tribe, known as Kimyal, at Korupun, Papua, Indonesia (formerly Irian Jaya, Indonesia) rejoicing greatly upon receiving their Bible translated in their local language for the first time. This a product of hard working missionaries reaching this Tribe. A noble cause that surely brought legacy in the lives of their families and to the whole world. The labor involved was not easy. Going to these remote villages and befriending these Tribal communities for the first until the missionaries earn their trust and eventually live with them is such a challenging journey. It would have taken decades and lots of prayers involved. Glory to God!

A Great Multitude from Every Nation
Revelation 7:9-12 9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”
A very lovely scene to watch. Lovely faces of people.
Their Pastor Praying and thanking God for this wonderful moment.

Jesus, you’re the center of my joy All that’s good and perfect comes from you You’re the heart of my contentment, hope for all I do Jesus, you’re the center of my joy
When I’ve lost my direction, you’re the compass for my way You’re the fire and light when nights are long and cold In sadness, you are the laughter, that shatters all my fears When I’m all alone, your hand is there to hold, ohh
Jesus, you’re the center of my joy All that’s good and perfect comes from you You’re the heart of my contentment, hope for all I do Jesus, you’re the center of my joy
You are why I find pleasure in the simple things in life You’re the music in the meadows and the streams The voices of the children, my family, and my home You’re the source and finish of my highest dreams, woah

There’s a light in the window The table’s spread in splendor Someone’s standing by the open door I can see a crystal river I must be near forever See, I’ve never been this homesick before
I see the bright light shine It’s just about hometime I can see my Father standing at the door This world has been a wilderness I’m ready for deliverance Lord, I’ve never been this homesick before
I can see the family gather Sweet faces, all familiar And no one’s old or feeble anymore And my lonesome heart is cryin’ Think I’ll spread my wings for flyin’ See I’ve never felt this homesick before
See the bright light shine It’s just about hometime I can see my Father standing at the door This world has been a wilderness I’m ready for deliverance Lord, I’ve never been this homesick before
See the bright light shine It’s just about hometime I can see my Father standing at the door This world has been a wilderness I’m ready for deliverance Lord, I’ve never been this homesick before Lord, I’ve never been this homesick before, thank you Lord
