Big Win for Christians: Rugby Australia and Israel Folau Settle Legal Dispute over Sacking

Big win for Christians in Australia! Wallabies Australian rugby Superstar Israel Folau has reached a confidential settlement with Rugby Australia. It has been eight months since the controversial Instagram post by Israel Folau that got him sacked from the Wallabies by Rugby Australia.

Folau, who also played for the Waratahs, had reportedly rejected a $1 million offer to walk away of his case in May. He asked for $14 million in compensation for being sacked over his controversial social media posts, which read: “Drunks, Homosexuals, Adulterers, Liars, Fornicators, Thieves, Atheists, Idolators: Hell Awaits You. Repent! Only Jesus Saves.”

Truly, Jesus is The Way. His death on the cross, the shedding of His blood, His sacrifice, made way for us to approach God with boldness. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.(Hebrews 10:23-25)
