“God Of This City,” is a song birthed by Ireland-based modern worship band Bluetree in a brothel in Thailand. An anthem being sung worldwide, “God Of This City” was written by Bluetree during a mission trip and while the band was on stage performing worship songs in the Climax Bar, a club which doubles as a brothel in the Red Light district of Pattaya, Thailand. The song became a message of hope for the people of Pattaya and is now being sung in churches across the world. It was further recorded by Chris Tomlin and became the name and theme for the latest Passion project and world tour.
The acclaimed album, God Of This City, has become one the best selling Christian recordings this year. Watch American Idol Winner Kris Allen sing God of This City.
God of This City
You’re the God of this City
You’re the King of these people
You’re the Lord of this nation
You are
You’re the Light in this darkness
You’re the Hope to the hopeless
You’re the Peace to the restless
You are
There is no one like our God
There is no one like our God
For greater things have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this City
Greater thing have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done here
You’re the Lord of creation
You’re Creator of all things
You’re the King above all kings
You are
You’re the Strength in the weakness
You’re the Love to the broken
You’re the Joy in the sadness
You are
For there is no one like our God
There is no one like you God
For greater things have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this City
Glory
And grace for you and love for you in this City
For greater things have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this City
Greater things have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done here
There is no one like our God
There is no one like our God
Greater things have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this City
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:5-8)
It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man.(Psalms 118:8)
May God speak to you today as you watch this worship song!
My Savior my God
Aaron Shust
D
I am not skilled to understand
G
What God has willed, what God has planned
A
I only know at his right hand
D
Stands one who is my savior
D
I take him at his word and deed
G
Christ died to save me this I read
A
And in my heart I find a need
D
For him to be my savior
G
That he would leave his place on high
A
And come for sinful man to die
G
You count it strange, so once did I
D
Before I knew my savior
BmG
My savior loves, my savior lives
DA
My savior's always there for me
BmG
My God he was, my God he is
DA
My God he's always gonna be
D
Yes, living, dying; let me bring
G
My strength, my solace from this spring
A
That he who lives to be my king
D
Once died to be my savior
G
That he would leave his place on high
A
And come for sinful man to die
G
You count it strange, so once did I

Before I knew my savior

~Jeremiah
Paul Wilbur version of Days of Elijah. I enjoyed every second of it. Watch and be blessed. This video from Youtube was uploaded by guruinmedia taken from a DVD “A night of Extravagant Worship” available at www.wilburministries.com. Directed by Carey Goin
Days of Elijah
These are the days of Elijah
Declaring the word of the Lord
And these are the days of your servant, Moses
Righteousness being restored
And though these are days of great trials
Of famine and darkness and sword
Still, we are the voice in the desert, crying
“Prepare ye the way of the Lord!”
chorus:
Behold he comes, riding on the clouds
Shining like the sun, at the trumpet’s call
So lift your voice, It’s the year of Jubilee
And out of Zion’s hill, salvation comes.
And these are the days of Ezekiel,
The dry bones becoming as flesh
And these are the days of your servant, David,
Rebuilding the temple of praise.
And these are the days of the harvest,
The fields are as white in the world.
And we are the laborers in Your vineyard,
Declaring the word of the Lord!
Repeat Chorus
There’s no God like Jehovah,
There’s no God like Jehovah,
There’s no God like Jehovah!
Thank you God for the gift of music! Our hope is in Christ. Isaiah 40:31 says: “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Watch this video by Chris Tomlin. Be blessed!
There’s a peace I’ve come to know. Though my heart and flesh may fail. There’s an anchor for my soul, I can say “It is well”. Jesus has overcome. And the grave is overwhelmed. The victory is won He is risen from the dead
And I will rise when He calls my name No more sorrow, no more pain I will rise on eagles’ wings Before my God fall on my knees and rise I will rise
There’s a day that’s drawing near When this darkness breaks to light And the shadows disappear And my faith shall be my eyes
Jesus has overcome And the grave is overwhelmed The victory is won He is risen from the dead
And I will rise when He calls my name No more sorrow, no more pain I will rise on eagles’ wings Before my God fall on my knees And rise I will rise
And I hear the voice of many angels sing, “Worthy is the Lamb” And I hear the cry of every longing heart, “Worthy is the Lamb”
And I will rise when He calls my name No more sorrow, no more pain I will rise on eagles’ wings Before my God fall on my knees And rise I will rise
The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice
He wraps himself in light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice, trembles at His voice
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, How great is our God
And age to age He stands, and time is in His Hands
Beginning and the End, Beginning and the End
The Godhead, three in one Father, Spirit, Son
the Lion and the Lamb, the Lion and the Lamb
Name above all names, Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing How great is our God
