For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end….

….and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. (Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV)

I am keeping Christ on Christmas

  • Christian Life Today says:

Heriberta: As you should. Like my pastor said this past sunday, Its not your birthday its Jesus’s birthday. Some of us act like we need to stack presents to the ceiling and thats when all the frustration comes in. Not enough money, hope so and so likes their gift etc. We forget about the real reason for the day. The devil likes that. We need to refocus and praise Jesus that day and everyday.Amen

  • Christian Life Today says:

Carla: “I love Christmas because I love Jesus. Christmas is all about loving and giving. It’s about rejoicing in the sweetest little things and traditions that make up our homes and the lives of those dear to us. It’s about seeing with the eyes of our heart the need and the pain in others and being generous in our efforts to show compassion and to bring comfort. Christmas is bearing the heart of Christ in being His ambassadors of peace in our world and having goodwill toward those God has given into our life experience. Jesus is the sole essence and substance of Christmas. Without the beauty of His loving Spirit, we may have a holiday but we have missed the true Christmas.”
