Booth Brothers – “Let The Healing Begin”

Let The Healing Begin! Yes, what a beautiful message in a song. We need the touch of our Lord Jesus Christ. Praying that He will extend His hand and reach out to anyone really desiring to be healed, or to be delivered, or to be saved. There is power in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Whosoever call upon His name desperately, shall be healed.

The Booth Brothers was initially formed in the 1950s by Ron Booth Sr. with his brothers Charles, James, and Wallace, after they moved to Detroit. However, Ron decided to disband the group in 1963 when he joined The Toney Brothers. In 1990, Ron’s youngest son, Michael, decided to revive the group with his brother Ronnie II (b. June 28, 1965), and his father. They started performing and touring around Florida and recorded several albums. In 1998, Ron decided to retire and the remaining brothers started looking for a replacement. They recorded several albums with Joseph Smith, who was later replaced by Jim Brady. Brady remained with them until 2014, at which point he was replaced by Paul Lancaster.

Let The Healing Begin Lyrics

Let the healing begin.
We’re all hear together in one accord,
Brother and sisters and friends;
We came here in need of a touch from the Lord,
So let the healing begin.

No time like the present, no place like right here,
No other can cleanse you from sin;
If you came here in need of a touch from the Lord,
Then let the healing begin.
Let it begin, let it begin.

If you came here in need of a touch from the Lord,
Then let the healing begin.
Let it begin, let it begin.

If you came here in need of a touch from the Lord,
Then let the healing begin.
Oo – – – – – – – – – –
Let the healing begin.

“I Have Decided to Follow Jesus”- A Bill Gaither Classic Hymn

I Have Decided to Follow Jesus” is a Christian hymn that originated in Assam, India. According to P. Job, the lyrics are based on the last words of Nokseng, a Garo man, a tribe from Meghalaya which then was in Assam, who converted to Christianity in the middle of the 19th century through the efforts of an American Baptist missionary. He is said to have recited verses from the twelfth chapter of the Gospel of John as he and his family were killed. The formation of the martyr’s words into a hymn has been attributed to the Indian missionary Sadhu Sundar Singh. (Source: Wikipedia) Watch this beautiful performance of Bill Gaither and friends.

“The Gaither Vocal Band is an American southern gospel vocal group, named after its founder and leader Bill Gaither. On March 1, 2017, it was announced that the Gaither Vocal Band lineup consisted of Reggie Smith, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles, and Bill Gaither. Although the group started out recording contemporary Christian music in the 1980s, it became known for southern gospel after the popularity of the Gaither Homecoming videos.” (Source: Wikipedia)

I Have Decided To Follow Jesus

Song by Bill & Gloria Gaither

I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.
Though I may wonder, I still will follow;
Though I may wonder, I still will follow;
Though I may wonder, I still will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
No turning back, no turning back.
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
No turning back, no turning back.

Iconic Holywood Actor Tom Selleck Talks About His Faith in Christ

A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps!” This is the verse quoted by Tom Selleck as he openly declared that everything he achieved, he owes to Jesus!

Actor Tom Selleck is one of most successful actors in Hollywood history. For the last forty-five years of his career, his acting career inspired and captured the hearts of generations of movie fans. Tom Selleck is most known for starring as private investigator Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum, P.I. (1980–1988), as Peter Mitchell in Three Men and a Baby, and as NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan in Blue Bloods on CBS since 2010. Unknown to many, he has another story to tell, and that is: his faith in Jesus Christ.

“According to Tom, he has always tried to conduct himself in an ethical way, as that is what matters most. He attributes his fortune to Jesus Christ and strongly believes that although it is an individual’s heart that makes plans for a lifetime, it is the Almighty who guides him through them. He quoted the Bible and said: “A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” “I try very hard to conduct myself in an ethical way, because that’s important to my stability now” he added in his interview with New York Daily News.

Few of us are as good as we think we are; none of us are as good as we can be.” – Tom Selleck

I’ve learned by hanging out in Hollywood, where I disagree politically with most people, that most people’s hearts are in the right place, and the only thing we have to argue about is the way to solve the problems. – Tom Selleck

There is power in testimony. It’s the real miracle that Jesus is continuously doing in the lives of many people today. Behold, all things become new!” Watch this wonderful testimony of a young man.

“I had I had a lot of identity issues as a kid and you know get expelled from school by grade 8. In drugs and alcohol really heavily by like 14 or 15. I kept a lot of that life hidden from my parents my brothers. I lived that life at all my teenage years right up until the age of 17. And I got caught for doing a few things and and it was there that I had an encounter with God in jail. Just in a cell on my own. I remember being freezing cold. You know young indigenous kids are the highest suicide rates in jail and deaths in custody. I was scared. I was gonna hang myself or something so they took the drawstring out of my boxer shorts. I couldn’t even couldn’t even hold my own pants up and so I’m laying in there just rock bottom for me but I just found myself crying. And just calling out saying: “God if you’re real help me. Change me. I need need help.” God turned up that night. when I got let out, it was a miracle.”

The Lighthouse Lyrics

There’s a Lighthouse on the hillside
That overlooks life’s sea
And when I’m tossed it sends out a light
A light that I might see
And the light that shines in darkness now
Will safely lead us o’er
If it wasn’t for the Lighthouse
My ship would be no more

And I thank God for the Lighthouse (I owe it all to Him)
I owe my life to Him (for Jesus is the Lighthouse)
For Jesus is the Lighthouse (and from the rocks of sin)
And from the rocks of sin (He has shown His light)

He has shown a light around me (that I might clearly see)
That I might clearly see
If it wasn’t for the Lighthouse (tell me)
Where would this ship be?

Well, everybody that lives about us
They say tear that Lighthouse down
You know the big ships don’t sail this way anymore
There’s no use of it standing round
Then my mind goes back to that stormy night
When just in time I saw the light
Yes, the light from that old Lighthouse
That stands up there on the hill

There’s a Lighthouse on the hillside
That overlooks life’s sea
And when I’m tossed it sends out a light
A light that I might see
And the light that shines in darkness now
Will safely lead us o’er
If it wasn’t for the Lighthouse
My ship would be no more

If it wasn’t for the Lighthouse (tell me)
Where would this ship be?
