Legendary and Award Winning Country Music Artist Merle Haggard did a wonderful version of this timeless gospel hymn, One Day at a Time. Such a blessing to hear a gospel song from a man who may have messed up in the past. His voice conveys a heart that is healed and brings a powerful message out this song. Indeed, we are only human who can easily fall, but we have a perfect Savior, Jesus Christ, who can emphatize with us as long as we continue to trust and follow Him. Be blessed.
I’m only human I’m just a man Help me to believe in what I could be and all that I am Show me the stairway that I have to climb Lord for my sake teach me to take one day at a time One day at a time sweet Jesus that’s all I’m asking from you Give me the strength to do everyday what I have to do Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus and tomorrow may never be mine So for my sake teach me to take one day at a time
Do you remember when you walked among men Well Jesus you know if you’re looking below it’s worse now than then Pushing and shoving crawding my mind So for my sake teach me to take one day at a time One day at a time sweet Jesus that’s all I’m asking from you Give me the strength to do everyday what I have to do Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus and tomorrow may never be mine Yes just for my sake teach me to take one day at a time
“I truly believe God gave my voice. God bestowed upon everybody certain talents and I think at some point in our lives we got the chance to use that.” – Carrie Underwood quote
Two of today’s top country singers, Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill, performed this classic Hymn “How Great Thou Art.” It is simply spectacular! What is more spectacular is the fact that Carrie and Vince sang in front of thousands of live audience, most of them are singers, songwriters, recording artists and talent managers. In addition to that, it was telecast to millions of viewers in America. It was such a blessing to many people, Christians or non-Christians. How Great Thou Art is one of my favorite Christian Hymns and I am not gonna get tired watching this video again and again. Be Blessed!
Carrie Underwood was born on March 10, 1983, Muskogee, Oklahoma, U.S.A.. She is an American country music performer who rose to stardom when she won the American Idol in 2005. She received the top prize of a recording contract with 19 Recordings/Arista Records, and the resulting album, Some Hearts (2005), was a massive commercial hit, eventually selling more than seven million copies and cementing Underwood’s status as one of American Idol’s most successful alumni. In 2007 she won Grammy Awards for best new artist and best female country vocal performance. Carrie returned to American Idol in 2007, performing a cover of the Pretenders’ “I’ll Stand by You.” Made available as a single on Apple’s iTunes service, the song was downloaded more than 300,000 times and became the first digital-only release to crack the top 10 of the Billboard singles chart. At the 2007 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, Underwood claimed single-of-the-year honours for the feisty revenge song “Before He Cheats.” Her second album, Carnival Ride (2007), sold more than half a million copies in its first week of release, and in early 2008 she was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder, Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made; I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
When through the woods, and forest glades I wander, And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees. When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing; Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in; That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation, And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart. Then I shall bow, in humble adoration, And then proclaim: “My God, how great Thou art!”
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art. Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

Randy Travis did a great version of this classic gospel song. He is such a great country singer! “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” is a traditional gospel song that has been performed and recorded by many artists. The lyrics were inspired by the Bible in 2 Corinthians 5:7 which says: “We walk by faith, not by sight,” and James 4:8 which says: “Come near to God and He will come near to you.” Be blessed!
I am weak but Thou art strong Jesus keep me from all wrong I’ll be satisfied as long as I walk Dear Lord, close to Thee.
Just a closer walk with Thee Grant it Jesus, is my plea Daily walkin’ close to Thee Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
Through this world of toils and snares If I falter Lord, who cares? Who with me my burden shares? None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee.
Just a closer walk with Thee Grant it Jesus, is my plea Daily walkin’ close to Thee Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
When my feeble life is o’er And time for me will be no more Guide me gently, safely o’er To Thy kingdom dear Lord, to Thy shore.
Just a closer walk with Thee Grant it Jesus, is my plea Daily walkin’ close to Thee Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Willie Nelson – Just as I Am (Live From Austin City Limits, 1976)
Just as I Am Lyrics
Just as I am, without one plea But that thy blood was shed for me And that thou bidst me come to thee O Lamb of God, I come, I come
Just as I am, and waiting not To rid my soul of one dark blot To thee whose blood can cleanse each spot O Lamb of God, I come, I come
Just as I am, though tossed about With many a conflict, many a doubt Fightings and fears within, without O Lamb of God, I come, I come
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind Sight, riches, healing of the mind Yea, all I need in thee to find O Lamb of God, I come, I come
Just as I am, thou wilt receive Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve Because thy promise I believe O Lamb of God, I come, I come

Why Me Lyrics
Why me Lord, what have I ever done To deserve even one Of the pleasures I’ve known Tell me Lord, what did I ever do That was worth loving you Or the kindness you’ve shown.
Lord help me Jesus, I’ve wasted it so Help me Jesus I know what I am Now that I know that I’ve need you so Help me Jesus, my soul’s in your hand.
Tell me Lord, if you think there’s a way I can try to repay All I’ve taken from you Maybe Lord, I can show someone else What I’ve been through myself On my way back to you.
Lord help me Jesus, I’ve wasted it so Help me Jesus I know what I am Now that I know that I’ve need you so Help me Jesus, my soul’s in your hand.
