One such gem in their lineup is “Leaning On the Everlasting Arms,” featuring beloved artists Buddy Greene, Jeff & Sheri Easter, and Charlotte Ritchie. This event is more than just a concert; it’s a heartfelt celebration of faith, community, and the timeless messages found in gospel music.

When performed by seasoned artists like Buddy Greene—who not only sings but also plays his signature harmonica—the message resonates even more deeply. Today, the Gaither Vocal Band roster is comprised of five power-packed voices, including Bill Gaither, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles and Reggie Smith.

Leaning on the Everlasting Arms Lyrics

What a fellowship, what a joy divine
Leaning on the everlasting arms
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine
Leaning on the everlasting arms

Leaning, leaning
Safe and secure from all alarms
Leaning, leaning
Leaning on the everlasting arms

What have I to dread? What have I to fear?
Leaning on the everlasting arms
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near
Leaning on the everlasting arms

Leaning, leaning
Safe and secure from all alarms
Leaning, leaning
Leaning on the everlasting arms

Very Touching Song “Sinner Saved By Grace” Featuring The Cathedrals

Be blessed with one of the best renditions of the classic gospel song “Sinner Saved By Grace.” Performed by The Cathedrals, it is such a very touching song that really bring tears in our eyes. Praise for the gift of music.

The Cathedrals began in 1963 as a trio consisting of former California based Weatherford Quartet lead singer Glen Payne, tenor Bobby Clark, and baritone Danny Koker. The group became a quartet by adding Blue Ridge Quartet bass singer George Younce in 1964, which caused the newly formed quartet became even more popular. Later joined by Danny Funderburk, and then Kirk Young who was replaced by Ernie Haase. They became one of the most popular southern gospel groups and their persistence was rewarded when they won their first Grammy in 1977 for Best Gospel Performance. They repeated the feat in 1978, 1979 and 1982, as well as drawing a clutch of Dove Awards from the Gospel Music Association. They also performed regularly at Bill Gaither’s Praise Gathering For Believers shows.

Sinner Saved by Grace Lyrics

Song by Gaither Vocal Band

If you could see
What I once was
If you could go with me
Back to where I started from
Then, I know you would see
A miracle of Love that put me
In it’s sweet embrace
And made me what I am today
Just an old sinner
Saved by grace

I’m just a sinner
Saved by grace
When I stood condemned to death
He took my place
Now I live and breathe in freedom
With each breath of life I take
Loved and forgiven
Backed with a living
I’m just a sinner
Saved by grace

How could I boast on anything
I’ve ever seen or done
How could I dare to claim as mine
The victories God has won
Where would I be
Had God not brought me
Gently to this place
I’m here to say I’m nothing but
A sinner saved by grace

I’m just a sinner
Saved by grace
When I stood condemned to death
He took my place
Now I grow and breathe in freedom
With each breath of life I take
I’m loved and forgiven
Backed with a living
I’m just a sinner
Saved by grace

Now I grow and breathe in freedom
With each breath of life I take
I’m loved and forgiven
Backed with a living
I’m just a sinner
Saved by grace
Saved by grace

The Gatlin Brothers, Duane Allen, Ben Speer “Sheltered In The Arms Of God” (Live)

This beautiful song was written by Dottie Rambo. According to a St. Augustine newspaper article about the song, Dottie had just gone through a difficult time with a friend who had disappointed her. She decided to walk along the beach to clear her mind. “All of a sudden I thought, ‘Lord, this storm is so much like my life, and yet, in the midst of the storms of life, you have been a shelter to me. When I can’t take the storm, I run to you for that shelter and, suddenly, I feel secure.’” While pondering these thoughts she began to write Sheltered in the Arms of God.

Sheltered in the Arms of God Lyrics

Song by Dottie Rambo

For I’m sheltered in the arms of God

I feel the touch of hands so kind and tender
They’re leading me in paths that I must trod
I’ll have no fear ’cause Jesus walks beside me
For I’m sheltered in the arms of God

So let the storms rage high
The dark clouds rise
They won’t worry me
For I’m sheltered safe within the arms of God
He walks with me
And naught of earth shall harm me
For I’m sheltered in the arms of God

Soon I shall hear the call from Heaven’s portals
“Come home, My child, it’s the last mile you have trod.”
I’ll just fall asleep and wake up in God’s new heaven
Forever sheltered in the arms of God

So let the storms rage high
The dark clouds rise
They won’t worry me
For I’m sheltered safe within the arms of God

He walks with me
And naught of earth shall harm me
For I’m sheltered in the arms of God
So let the cold winds blow
It’s so good to know
That I’m sheltered in the arms of God
Darling we have both been sheltered in the arms of God
The arms of God

Heaven’s Joy Awaits Lyrics

When we leave this low land
We will cross the Jordan
Pass this chilling torrent
Heaven’s joy awaits

Heaven is just beyond the blue horizon
Just above the starry sky, starry blue sky (starry blue sky)
Far above this land of sorrow (land of sorrow)
Way above each tear and sigh, every sigh

Just a few more miles before us
Just a little while to wait, patiently wait
Soon, we’ll sing redemptions chorus
Heaven’s joy awaits, heaven awaits (up there where heaven’s joy awaits)

Heaven’s breeze is blowing (ooh)
Gently to recalling (calling)
I will soon be going (going)
Through the Pearly Gates

Heaven is just beyond the blue horizon
Just above the starry sky, starry blue sky
Far above this land of sorrow
Way above each tear and sigh, every sigh

Just a few more miles before us
Just a little time to wait, patiently wait
Soon, we’ll sing redemptions chorus
Heaven’s joy awaits, heaven awaits (up there where heaven’s joy awaits)
