Amazing David Phelps’ Version: “You’ll Never Walk Alone”

Be blessed by this amazing version of of David Phelps of the iconic song “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”This song is also sung at association football clubs around the world, where it is performed by a massed chorus of supporters on match day. This tradition developed at Liverpool F.C. after the chart success of the 1963 single of the song by the local Liverpool group Gerry and the Pacemakers. Elvis Presley has also included this song in one of his gospel albums.

About David Phelps

David Phelps is a singer, songwriter, and keyboardist known in the Christian music sphere as a popular solo artist and as a tenor for the Gaither Vocal Band (1998-2005, 2009-2017). Raised in Tomball, Texas. As a member of the Gaither Vocal Band, David has received Dove Awards, Grammy Awards, and multiple platinum-selling projects. As a soloist, he received 2009 Dove Award nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year and Long Form Video for the Christmas DVD, O Holy Night to add to his many awards and honors. His 2012 live concert DVD, David Phelps: Classic, has received acclaim from across gospel music and beyond, and has been featured on numerous television networks, including PBS. While studying music at Baylor, David met Lori Purtle, who has been his wife and rock-solid partner in his career for more than two decades. About Buddy Greene

Buddy Greene has been performing for audiences since the tender age of ten, but his first big break came when, as a young man, he landed a position in country superstar Jerry Reed’s band. As rhythm guitarist, singer, and harmonicist, Buddy’s four year stint with Reed proved to be the ideal apprenticeship that included appearing on numerous TV shows and recordings as well as touring extensively throughout the country. He is a featured performer with gospel greats Bill and Gloria Gaither. Over the last 30+ years, Buddy has performed across America, made numerous trips abroad, and released twenty recording projects. His album Sojourner’s Song won the Gospel Music Association’s Dove award for Best Country Album, and he has received 9 other Dove award nominations.
