Miles Dissinger : Hot, Cold, or Lukewarm Christians

Hot Cold or Lukewarm Christians Sermon by Miles Dissinger

“I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.” Revelation 13: 15-17

Miles Dissinger of Damaskus Road Community Church preached this message Hot, Cold, or Lukewarm. It’s a message that every Christian should here to be reminded and avoid the danger of falling away from Christian faith.

Why Muslim Dr. Nabeel Qureshi Converted to Christianity

Why Muslim Dr. Nabeel Qureshi Converted to Christianity
Dr. Nabeel Qureshi is a former devout Muslim who was convinced of the truth of the Gospel through historical reasoning and a spiritual search for God. Since his conversion, he has dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel through teaching, preaching, writing, and debating.

Dr. Nabeel Qureshi Testimony

“It should not be assumed that the Quran is the Islamic analogue of the Bible. It isn’t. For Muslims, the Quran is the closest thing to an incarnation of Allah, and it is the very proof they provide to demonstrate the truth of Islam. The best parallel in Christianity is Jesus himself, the Word made flesh, and his resurrection. That is how central the Quran is to Islamic theology.” ? 6 Years Old Jotta A Amazing Worship in an Evangelistic Crusade

Jotta A Amazing Worship

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! This video of Jotta A, back when he was still 6 years old is very inspiring. At his tender age, he has used his talent to bring glory to our Lord Jesus and ushered people to an awesome worship encounter.

I came to know of this young man when I watched his breathtaking performance (see video here) of Michael W. Smith‘s song Agnus Dei. I hope he has found a recording company to further develop his skills in order reach more people globally. He also performed Chris Tomlin‘s version of Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone) at the Joven’s Talentos Kids, a talent show with similar format as the famous shows like Britain’s Got Talent.

John Maxwell Speaks on Finding Your Purpose

John Maxwell Speaks on Finding Your Purpose
John Maxwell speaks on finding our purpose. A very insightful sermon. He said that there are two challenges in our lives and these are: Finding Ourselves; and To lose ourselves. We find ourselves when we know our purpose. We lose ourselves when our purpose is bigger than us. You need to watch this video as John Maxwell expound these two points.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11 ESV

Have You Prayed This Prayer?

Psalm 51 a prayer of repentance

A Prayer of Repentance

Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.

For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil in Your sight—
That You may be found just when You speak,[a]
And blameless when You judge.

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.

14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
15 O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise.

18 Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion;
Build the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.

Psalm 51, NKJV
