For All Parents : I’m Watching You Dad – A Short Film

Dad Im watching youAre you looking for inspiration? This short film is focused on the roles of Dads to their sons. Sometimes we are unaware of what we do in front of small eyes that are intimately watching. Dads are role models and the success our kids in the future depends on how we rear them, the values we instill on them, and time we spend with them.

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 22:6

Ed’s Story: A Seven-Part Film Series about Hope

There is always HOPE!  This film is a story of a Pastor named Ed Dobson, who  was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and was given a short time to live. I watched the trailer video below and the narrative is so moving. It deals with one of the most difficult questions affecting our Christian Faith particularly human suffering.

Suffering can make or break us. It can change our life’s perspectives for better or for worse. It can bring about worries, mental, emotional, or spiritual fatigue. Pastor Ed Dobson tells his story about battling a disease that has no cure and was given only few months to live.

By Ed Dobson / David C. Cook

 Film One – It Ain’t Over
Ed’s Story is our story. Diagnosed with ALS and given a short time to live, Ed Dobson wrestles with issues suffering raises: worry, identity, forgiveness, gratitude, and healing. What emerges in this 7-film series is his discovery that there is always hope.

ED’S STORY: Film Two — Consider the Birds
Sometimes worry can come in waves and be overwhelming. We try so hard to control our lives, when in face we have no control over the future. Ed discovered that it is hard to find God when we are worried about tomorrow; but when we live in the moment, He is right there with us.

ED’S STORY: Film Three — Be There
When people around us suffer, it’s only natural to want to help. But what can you say when someone’s life falls apart and suffering becomes their reality? Ed learned that sometimes the answer is to “show up and shut up.” Perhaps just being present can bring more comfort, peace, and a sense of God’s presence than words ever could.

Beautiful Christmas Flash Mob That Stunned Shoppers with a Merrily On High Chorus

What an early treat for Christmas when you go shopping on a mall when suddenly you hear fantastic voices of a group of people singing a Christmas song and watch them do it right before your eyes! Yep, Christmas Carols on the spot! It happens in the Cache Valley Mall in Logan, Utah. The American Festival Chorus surprised busy shoppers with their fantastic voices singing Merrily on High, a classic holiday Christmas song! This performance is now popularly known as Christmas Flash Mob patterned among different surprise performances of groups of people known as “Flash Mobs.”

A wonderful performance and for sure, you don’t want to miss the action. Watch how they do it on this video.

Christmas Flash Mob Merrily On High

Ding dong merrily on high,
In heav’n the bells are ringing:
Ding dong! verily the sky
Is riv’n with angel singing.
Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis!

The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall not want (Psalm 23)

The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
Forever. (Psalm 23, NKJV)
