“Thanks to Calvary (I Don’t Live Here Anymore)” – Gaither Vocal Band Featuring George Younce

George Younce, a beloved figure in the world of Southern Gospel music, is fondly remembered for his powerful voice and heartfelt performances. Among his most cherished songs is “Thanks to Calvary,” a poignant hymn that encapsulates themes of grace, redemption, and gratitude.

Originally penned by Bill and Gloria Gaither, “Thanks to Calvary” reflects on the transformative power of Christ’s sacrifice. In the song, the narrator expresses profound appreciation for how faith has changed their life—moving from despair to hope. George Younce’s rendition of this classic is particularly moving, as his deep, resonant voice brings an emotional depth that resonates with listeners.

The Gaither Vocal Band was founded in the early ’80s by renowned Christian music leader Bill Gaither. GVB became one of America’s leading southern gospel vocal groups. While Bill Gaither remained the only original member of the ensemble, many well-regarded CCM/gospel singers have passed through the band’s ranks, including Russ Taff, Guy Penrod, Wes Hampton, Michael English, Mark Lowry, and David Phelps. Today, the Gaither Vocal Band roster is comprised of five power-packed voices, including Bill Gaither, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles and Reggie Smith.

“Soon and Very Soon” – Featuring Jessy Dixon at Gaither Homecoming

Yes! Jesus is coming soon!!! And we can sing along with this joyful gospel song written by Andre Crouch, “Soon and Very Soon.” Performed by well-acclaimed gospel singer Jessy Dixon, the excitement of the coming of the Lord Jesus is truly at hand. Jesus Testifies to the Churches in the book of Revelation “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work! Hallelunjah!!!

Soon and Very Soon Lyrics

Soon and very soon
We are going to see the King

Soon and very soon
We are going to see the King

Soon and very soon
We are going to see the King
Hallelujah, hallelujah,
We’re going to see the king

No more cryin there,
We are going to see the King

No more cryin there,
We are going to see the King

No more cryin there,
We are going to see the King
Hallelujah, hallelujah,
We’re going to see the King

Should there be any rivers we must cross
Should there be any mountains we must climb
God will supply all the strength that we need
Give us strength till we reach the other side.

We have come from every nation, God knows each of us by name.
Jesus shed[took] his blood and he washed my sins.
he washed them all away.
Yes there are some of us who have laid down our lives but we
all shall live again on the other side… soon and very soon.

Hallelujah
Halleljuah
We’re going to see the King!

“Praise the Lord” – Gaither Homecoming Featuring Russ Taff

Be blessed with this very moving rendition of “Praise The Lord” by well-acclaimed gospel singer and artist Russ Tuff. What a beautiful song with inspiring lyrics. This is one of the songs that we need to listen to when we are gripped by fear, anxiety, or difficult tribulations. Know that the devil is a liar and he is already defeated at the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise The Lord Lyrics

Russ Taff

When you’re up against a struggle, that shatters all your dreams
And your hopes have been cruelly crushed by Satan’s manifested schemes
And you feel the urge within you to submit to earthly fear
Don’t let the faith you’re standing in seem to disappear

Praise the Lord, He will work through those who praise Him
Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise
Praise the Lord, for the chains that seem to bind you
Serve only to remind you, that they drop powerless behind you
When you praise Him

Now, Satan is a liar and he wants to make us think
That we are paupers, when he knows himself we’re children of the King
So lift up the mighty shield of faith for the battle must be won
We know that Jesus Christ has risen and the work’s already done

Praise the Lord, He will work through those who praise Him
Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise
Praise the Lord, for the chains that seem to bind you
Serve only to remind you, that they drop powerless behind you
When you praise Him

Praise the Lord, He will work through those who praise Him
Praise the Lord, for our God abides in our praise
Praise the Lord, for the chains that seem to bind you
Serve only to remind you, that they drop powerless behind you
When you praise Him

When you praise Him
When you praise Him
When you praise
When you praise, you praise the Lord
Praise the Lord

If We Never Meet Again Lyrics

The Booth Brothers

Soon we’ll come to the end of life’s journey
And perhaps we’ll never meet any more
Till we gather in Heaven’s bright city
Far away on that beautiful shore

If we never meet again this side of Heaven
As we struggle through this world and it’s strife
There’s another meeting place somewhere in Heaven
By the side of the river of life.

Where the charming roses bloom forever
And where separations come no more
If we never meet again this side of Heaven
I will meet you on that beautiful shore
Oh, they say that we shall meet by the river

Where no storm clouds ever darken the sky
And they say that we’ll be happy in Heaven
In the wonderful sweet by and by
If we never meet again this side of Heaven

As we struggle through this world and it’s strife
There’s another meeting place somewhere in Heaven
By the side of the river of life.
Where the charming roses bloom forever

And where separations come no more
If we never meet again this side of Heaven
I will meet you on that beautiful shore
I will meet you…
I will meet you on that beautiful shore.
