Donnie Sumner, raised the son of a minister, is no new comer to the world of Christian music. Since childhood his favorite form of entertainment has been “GOSPEL MUSIC“ with styles ranging from “Foot-stompin’ – hand-clappin’ revival tunes” to what has become known in today’s market as contemporary sacred music. Having devoted over forty years of his own life to the world of music, Donnie has carried on the tradition of others in his family who have also made their mark in this industry. Amazing David Phelps’ Version: “You’ll Never Walk Alone”

Be blessed by this amazing version of of David Phelps of the iconic song “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”This song is also sung at association football clubs around the world, where it is performed by a massed chorus of supporters on match day. This tradition developed at Liverpool F.C. after the chart success of the 1963 single of the song by the local Liverpool group Gerry and the Pacemakers. Elvis Presley has also included this song in one of his gospel albums.

About David Phelps

David Phelps is a singer, songwriter, and keyboardist known in the Christian music sphere as a popular solo artist and as a tenor for the Gaither Vocal Band (1998-2005, 2009-2017). Raised in Tomball, Texas. As a member of the Gaither Vocal Band, David has received Dove Awards, Grammy Awards, and multiple platinum-selling projects. As a soloist, he received 2009 Dove Award nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year and Long Form Video for the Christmas DVD, O Holy Night to add to his many awards and honors. His 2012 live concert DVD, David Phelps: Classic, has received acclaim from across gospel music and beyond, and has been featured on numerous television networks, including PBS. While studying music at Baylor, David met Lori Purtle, who has been his wife and rock-solid partner in his career for more than two decades.
