Fall On Your Knees Lyrics

Song by David Phelps

O holy night, the stars are shining
It is the night of our Savior’s birth
Long lay the world in error pining
Till He appeared and we felt worth
A thrill of hope for a weary world
For yonder breaks a glorious morn

Fall on your knees, hear the angel voices
This is the night when Christ was born
Fall on your knees (fall on your knees)
Fall on your knees (fall on your knees)

Truly He taught to love each other
His law is love and His gospel peace
Chains shall He break, the slave our brother
And in His name (and in His name) oppression cease (oh-oh, o-oh)

Sweet hymns of joy in a chorus raise
Let all within us praise

Fall on your knees, hear the angel voices
This is the night when Christ was born
Fall on your knees (fall on your knees)
Fall on your knees (fall on your knees)
Fall on your knees (fall on your knees)
Fall on your knees (fall on your knees)

fall on your knees
(Fall on your knees) fall on your knees
(Fall on your knees) O holy night, O night divine
(Fall on your knees) fall on your knees

The Christ was born and the stars did shine
O holy night, O night divine

“Angels in the Room” – Gaither Homecoming Featuring The Ruppes

The Ruppes performed this song of encouragement “Angels in the Room” beautifully in one of the Gaither Homecoming shows. This song speaks about not being afraid of death especially for believers of the Lord Jesus Christ. The lyrics are truly great comfort to many.

The Gaither Vocal Band was founded in the early ’80s by renowned Christian music leader Bill Gaither. GVB became one of America’s leading southern gospel vocal groups. While Bill Gaither remained the only original member of the ensemble, many well-regarded CCM/gospel singers have passed through the band’s ranks, including Russ Taff, Guy Penrod, Wes Hampton, Michael English, Mark Lowry, and David Phelps. Today, the Gaither Vocal Band roster is comprised of five power-packed voices, including Bill Gaither, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles and Reggie Smith.

Angels in the Room Lyrics

She’s close to death, but she is not afraid
Angels waiting for the order, to carry her away
They’re gathered around her bed side
She’s the only one who sees

She will draw her final breath, and away with
them she’ll leave
Angels in the room, she’s run her final race
They come to carry her to heaven
there to see her savior’s face

Angels in the room, to take her to a great reward
No need for sadness or gloom, there are angels in
the room
He’s not long for this world, there’s a better one
to come
He’s think’in about that great reunion, with the
father and the son

His family by his bedside, he says children can’t
you see
Angels standing all around us, it’s time for me to
leave
Angels in the room, he’s run his final race

They come to carry him to heaven
There to see his savior’s face

Angels in the room, to take him to his great
reward
No need for sadness or gloom, there are angels in
the room
When it comes a time for leaven
And you see the fights are long
You won’t have to worry friend
You won’t be alone

Angels in the room, when you run your final race
They will carry you to heaven
There to see your savior’s face
Ooh. Angels in the room, to take you to your
great reward
No need for sadness or gloom, they’ll be angels in
the room
No need for sadness or gloom, there are angels in
the room

“Jerusalem” – Powerful Performance of The Hoppers at Gaither Homecoming Concert

In the Book of Revelation Chapter 21 we read ” And I saw a new he:aven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Hallelujah! And this song by the Hoppers make this verse come alive! Be blessed with this song “Jerusalem” by the Hoppers.

Jerusalem Lyrics

Song by The Hoppers

John saw the city, that could not be hid
John saw this city, oh yes he did
John caught a glimpse of the golden throne
Tell me all about it, go right on

Around the throne he saw a crystal sea
There’s got to be more, what will it be
I want to go, to that city he saw
New Jerusalem

Jerusalem
I want to walk, your streets that are golden
And I want to run, where the angels have trod
Jerusalem
I want to rest, on the banks of your river
In that city, the city of God

John saw the lion, lay down by the lamb
I wanna know everything about that land
John saw the day but he did not see night
The lamb of God, well, he must be the light

And he saw the saints worship the great I Am
Crying worthy, worthy is the lamb
I want to go to that city he saw
New Jerusalem

Jerusalem I want to walk your streets that are golden
And I want to run where the angels have trod
Jerusalem I want to rest on the banks of your river
In that city, the city of God

Jerusalem, Jerusalem
Sing for the night is o’er
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna forever
Forever more

Jerusalem
I want to walk, your streets that are golden
And I want to run, where the angels have trod
Jerusalem

I want to rest, on the banks of your river
In that city, the city of God
City of God
Jerusalem
Jerusalem
City of God
It’s the city of God

Are you looking forward to that day when we will live with the Lord Jesus for all eternity? Of course, it takes faith to believe it. We need to understand that all of today’s stuff including this whole Earth will be burned with fire! And then a new heaven and a new earth will descend from above and life will be forever! A life of bliss for all those who can make it. Let’s be steadfast and live our life for God.

The Gaither Vocal Band was founded in the early ’80s by renowned Christian music leader Bill Gaither. GVB became one of America’s leading southern gospel vocal groups. Looking For A City Lyrics

Song by Bill & Gloria Gaither

Here among the shadows in a lonely land
We’re a band of pilgrims on the move;
Burdened down with sorrows, shunned on every hand
Looking for a city built above

Looking for a city, where we’ll never die
There the sainted millions, never say good-by
There we’ll meet our Savior, and our loved ones too
Come O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew

Here in disappointment we so sadly roam
Friends no longer speak one word of love;
O we have found contentment, Jesus promised us a home
And I’m looking for a city built above

We’re looking for a city, where we’ll never die
There the sainted millions, never say good-by
There we’ll meet our Savior, and our loved ones too
Come O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew

In this land of dangers going here and there
Trusting in the blessed Saviors love;
Tho’ we may be strangers, in this world of care
Looking for a city built above

We’re looking for a city, where we’ll never die
There the sainted millions, never say good-by
There we’ll meet our Savior, and our loved ones too
Come O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew

Come O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew

He Touched Me

Song by Bill & Gloria Gaither

Shackled by a heavy burden,
‘Neath a load of guilt and shame
Then the hand of Jesus touched me,
And now I am no longer the same

He touched me, oh He touched me,
And oh the joy that floods my soul!
Something happened and now I know,
He touched me and made me whole

Since I met this blessed Savior,
Since He cleansed and made me whole,
I will never cease to praise Him,
I’ll shout it while eternity rolls

He touched me, oh He touched me,
And oh the joy that floods my soul!
Something happened and now I know
He touched me and made me whole
