Awesome Praise: In Jesus’ Name by Darlene Zschech Revealing Jesus Project

In Jesus Name Darlene Zschech Revealing Jesus Project

I will live, I will not die. The resurrection power of Christ.
Alive in me and I am free. In Jesus’ Name
.”

In Jesus’ Name by Darlene Zschech is a very inspiring praise song that is very timely and relevant at this age. Battling Cancer herself, Darlene seemed to poured out her heart into the lyrics of this song declaring the Name of Jesus is indeed more powerful than anything else. It’s a song declaring God’s love for us and that He is fighting for us against the wiles of the devil.

Merle Haggard Tribute: “Jesus Christ” One of His Beautiful Gospel Songs

Merle Haggard Jesus Christ

FAREWELL MERLE HAGGARD. One of my favorite Country Music legend, Merle Haggard, died on 7 April 2016, at age of 79. He is the grizzled country music legend whose songs such as “Okie from Muskogee” and “Fightin’ Side of Me” that made him a voice for the workingman and the outsider. Additionally, Merle Haggard has been open about his Christian faith, and has sang various gospel songs including this song Jesus Christ. Haggard has a wonderfully distinctive singing voice, and is one of America’s greatest songwriters.

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ was a man that traveled through the land
A carpenter true and brave
He said to the rich give your goods to the poor
And they laid Jesus Christ in the grave

He went to the sick and he went to the poor
And he went to the hungry and the lame
And he said that the meek would inherit the whole world
And they laid Jesus Christ in the grave

One day Jesus stopped at a rich man’s door
What must I do to be saved
Take all you own and give it to the poor
And they laid Jesus Christ in the grave

When the love of the poor shall one day turn to hate
When the patience of the workers give away
Would be better for the rich if they never been born
So they laid Jesus Christ in the grave

When Jesus came to town all the working folks around
Believed what he did say
But bankers and preachers nailed him to the cross
And they laid Jesus Christ in the grave

Well the people held their breath when they heard about his death
And everybody wondered why
Was the landlord and soldiers lawmen there had hired
That nailed Jesus Christ in the sky

We would lay Jesus Christ in the grave Lord Lord
We would lay Jesus Christ in the grave
And if Jesus preached today like he preached in Galilee
We would lay Jesus Christ in his grave.

Knowing the Holy Spirit Quotes

Holy Spirit Quotes

The Holy Spirit is a person, the third person of the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is not a mystical force. It is not some vague, ethereal shadow, nor an impersonal force. The Holy Spirit is God himself. A divine person, a being with a mind, emotions, and a will. He is a person equal in every way with the Father and the Son. All the divine attributes ascribed to the Father and the Son are equally ascribed to the Holy Spirit.

person of the Holy Spirit

For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. – 1 Corinthians 2:11

The Holy Spirit quote Romans 8
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
Psalm 139:7-8

Holy Spirit Quote

“Without the Spirit of God, we can do nothing. We are as ships without wind. We are useless.” – C.H. Spurgeon

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.John 16:13-14

The Holy Spirit Acts 1:8
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

END TIME CHURCH: The Great Falling Away | David Wilkerson & Paul Washer

What is the picture the the current and modern Churches? What’s your Church looks like at the moment? What’s your primary consideration in choosing your Church? Church is not just a building. It’s more than that. “Church” was derived from the Greek term “ekklesia”, and is used in the modern time as a community of believers in Jesus Christ. It literally means “assembly,” “congregation,” or “meeting.” A similar term was used in the Old Testament referring to experiences such as “the day of the assembly,” “the Lord’s congregation,” or “meeting before the Lord.” It plays a vital role in our Christian growth. If we got it wrong, and if we associate with an assembly of people vested with personal interest and not the Church primary purpose of building a foundations of true Christian worship, fellowship, edification and evangelism, we are in great danger.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 NKJV

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  Therefore by their fruits you will know them. – Matthew 7:15-20 NKJV

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, I Corinthians 6:9 NKJV

Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”Mark 9:24 NKJV

To the Preacher: The Idolatry of Intelligence by Leonard Ravenhill

Leonard Ravenhill delivered this powerful preaching that is very relevant today to all Christian believers especially preachers of the Word of God. Some may find controversial but in reality, it is happening. It’s time to wake up! We must all be serious in our walk with God if we want revival to happen in our lives.

The Idolatry of Intelligence by Leonard Ravenhill

Quotes by Leonard Ravenhill

We call it intelligence God calls his pride.

A Roman Catholic priest startled us not very long ago by saying that for 25 years he had been sitting in the confessional, listening to the confessions of men and women. He said he heard (of) murders, rapes, adultery, and fornication. He met men and women who have broken every law of God and man with repetition. But never in 25 years had anyone ever confessed to be covetous. Covetousness! We wrap it up and call it ambition. We may call it business or something, but right down in the middle of those things is a rotten word called “covetousness.” Paul called it idolatry!

Someone asked me, “Do you pray for the dead?” I said, “No, I preach to them!” I think every pew in every church is death row. Think about that! They’re dead! They sing about God; they talk about God, but they’re dead! They have no living relationship (with God).

“The early church was married to poverty, prisons and persecutions. Today, the church is married to prosperity, personality, and popularity.”

“If I don’t believe the Word of God, why should you believe it? If we don’t believe it, why should the world believe us?”

“Do you go to church to meet God or to hear a sermon about Him? How many come to church expecting a confrontation with Deity?”

“I’m sick to death of the so-called Christianity of our day. What’s supernatural about it? When do people come out of the sanctuary awed and can’t speak for an hour because God has been in glory there? Dear God, as soon as they get out, they’re talking football, or sports or something, or there’s going to be a big sale downtown somewhere. We are not caught up into eternity!”

“The surest thing in the world is not death and taxes, it’s death and eternity. Yet, we’re so unconcerned. We are not eternity conscious enough.”

“Many pastors criticize me for taking the Gospel so seriously. But do they really think that on Judgment Day, Christ will chastise me, saying, ‘Leonard, you took Me too seriously’?” – Leonard Ravenhill

Leonard Ravenhill (June 18, 1907 – November 27, 1994) was an English Christian evangelist and author who focused on the subjects of prayer and revival. He is best known for challenging western evangelicalism (through his books and sermons) to compare itself to the early Christian Church as chronicled in the Book of Acts. He was a proponent of the moral government or Governmental theory of atonement. His most notable book is Why Revival Tarries which has sold over a million copies worldwide. (Wikipedia)
