If you enjoy variety of music like I do, you will love this version of the popular Christmas carol, Joy to the World, by the Third Day. “This band is a Grammy award-winning Christian rock band formed in Marietta, Georgia during the 1990s. It was founded by lead singer Mac Powell, guitarist Mark Lee and former member Billy Wilkins. The band’s name is a reference to the biblical account of Jesus’ rising from the dead on the third day following his crucifixion. The band was inducted in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 19, 2009. (Source: wikipedia)”
Joy to the world, the Lord is come
Let earth receive her King
Let every heart prepare Him room
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven and heaven and nature sing
Joy to the world, the Savior reigns Let saints, their songs employ While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains Repeat the sounding joy Repeat the sounding joy Repeat, repeat the sounding joy
He rules the world with truth and grace And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness And wonders of His love And wonders of His love And wonders, wonders, of His love

It will tell us what Christmas is all about. The lyrics says:
“What hope we hold this starlit night
A King is born in Bethlehem
Our journey long, we seek the light
That leads to the hallowed manger ground …
Emmanuel, Emmanuel God incarnate, here to dwell Emmanuel, Emmanuel Praise His name Emmanuel
The son of God, here born to bleed A crown of thorns would pierce His brow And we beheld this offering Exalted now the King of kings Praise God for the hallowed manger ground..”
